JAB Design Build is led by Joseph Billig AIA, a talented, creative and imaginative licensed architect who thinks like a builder. He has hands-on construction experience and understands the full process from concept to completion.
Joe will engage clients in a conversation about the initial design concept, while listening to their functional needs, aesthetic preferences and budgets. He provides thoughtful plan options and will guide the client all the way to completed construction by partnering with licensed contractors or acting as the owner’s representative.

Meet the
Design Team
Joe and Robin met in college in upstate New York in 1988 and moved to Portland shortly after. They have been partnering in life and work for over 30 years!
Joseph Billig, AIA is an award winning, licensed architect with 30 years of experience in residential and commercial work. His specialty is guiding clients from the original concept through to the completed building.
Robin Jacobson has a background in interior design, home staging, and FF&E procurement and installation for a Development and Construction company.
